Each VPS comes with a IPv6 /64 subnet by default. One IP from this subnet is already preconfigured on your server. Your IPv6 information is listed in the SolusVM (VPS Control Panel).

How to find your IPv6 subnet:

  • Log in to your VPS Control Panel
  • Click on the Manage button
  • Click on the Network tab
  • Click on the subnet link or Manage button

On this page you can review your subnet gateway, add more IPv6 addresses, and configure rDNS record.

To use the new IP addresses click on the "Reconfigure Networking" button or change your server network settings manually.

(warning) Please note that "::1" is reserved for use as gateway and can not be re-assigned.

(warning) If you receive the error message "Invalid Entry" when adding IPv6 addresses, your IPv6 syntax is incorrect. Use this IPv6 calculator to determine what IPs you can add.
